To clean windows and mirrors, mix 2 cups water, ½ cup vinegar, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Spray and wipe with a microfiber cloth—no streaks or chemicals.

You can clean your oven without gloves or ventilation: apply a paste of baking soda and water to the walls and leave it overnight. In the morning, wipe with a damp sponge—even the most stubborn grease stains will disappear.

To freshen your dishwasher, sprinkle a cup of baking soda into the bottom and run a short cycle. Then pour vinegar into the rinse aid container and run it again. The machine will be as good as new.

To clean faucets and shower heads, remove them and soak them in vinegar overnight. This will dissolve limescale and increase water pressure. If you can’t remove them, wrap the shower head in a bag of vinegar and secure it with a rubber band.

These methods are not only safe but also economical. One liter of vinegar costs pennies, but the effect is similar to professional cleaning. The key is consistency: clean a little every day, and deep cleaning will no longer be a nightmare.
