Dry clothes in a ventilated area rather than on a radiator. Direct heat can damage the fibers. Dry jeans and trousers vertically, and sweaters flat to prevent stretching.

A steam generator or even a hot shower will remove steam and creases: hang the item in the bathroom for 15 minutes—the creases will smooth out naturally. For particularly stubborn creases, use an iron with steam and a damp cloth on top.
Store seasonal items in vacuum-sealed bags with lavender sachets to protect them from moths and moisture. Don’t forget to add a bar of soap to repel insects.
And most importantly, don’t overload the washing machine. Leave a palm-sized space between the drum and the clothes. This will ensure high-quality washing and prolong the life of both your clothes and appliances.
